Martin Green is profoundly influenced by the work of the Impressionists. Atmospheric in nature, his paintings are frequently imbued with a hint of hidden drama. He draws much of his inspiration from the unique and unusual in the natural landscape, water, rocks, the evening sky, animals and the human figure. He works in a variety of media but with a current emphasis on acrylics and pastel.
He enjoys drawing as much as he enjoys painting.
