Kate Green lives near Burritt's Rapids, Ontario with her husband, two young sons, two dogs, and a guinea pig. With a Fine Art degree from the University of Toronto, an Art and Design Diploma from Sheridan College and further training at KLC School for Interior Design in London, England, Kate has a well trained eye for modern realist painting.

Each of Kate's paintings show a refined sensitivity and a fresh, modern interpretation. Through her dog paintings, it is evident that Kate has respect for the individual character of every dog. A champion for the rights of animals, Kate reveals pride and strength in each subject, but also a sense of whimsy and optimism.
