Gourds — “nature’s greatest gift to Mankind” — have been used in daily
life throughout history and around the world as dippers, ladles and containers; in religious ceremonies as masks, charms and rattles; and as musical instruments. Gourds are also nature’s greatest gift to Claudette. Through the gourds, she expresses her love for nature and cultures with wood burning designs and rich earthy colours, all the while guided by the natural voice of the gourds themselves.
